Laxmmi Bomb: Akshay Kumar Wanted A GRAND Launch Of The Song ‘Burj Khalifa’ In Dubai, But Had To Scrap The Plan Due To THIS Reason
The Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc with the movie releases as none of the movies could be released in theatres. Some of them have taken the route of OTT platforms and will directly be released on it, thereby skipping theatrical release. Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani has been one of the most highly anticipated films. The horror-comedy movie is all set to release on Disney+Hotstar on 9th November, i.e. during Diwali.

In a recently released trailer, the glimpses of the song ‘Burj Khalifa’ can be seen, for which the lead actors had flown all the way to UAE to shoot. The song is a big draw of this movie and there were initial plans to launch the song in Dubai in the presence of the lead cast. According to a report in KoiMoi, Akshay Kumar had suggested the launch of the song in Dubai and while the makers were on board with the plan at first, they had to later scrap the plan.

A source told the entertainment portal, “Burj Khalifa’ is a very special number for the makers and Akshay Kumar had suggested that they launch the same in Dubai. The makers were initially even keen about the plan, but later decided against it as the commercials didn’t work out in their favour.”

Meanwhile, earlier today, Aamir Khan took to his social media and praised the trailer of Laxmmi Bomb, and also applauded Akshay Kumar’s performance. He wrote, “Dear @akshaykumar, what a superb trailer, my friend. Can't wait to see it. This will be huge! Wish it was releasing in theatres. And your performance is outstanding! Best wishes to everyone.” ALSO READ: Laxmmi Bomb: Netizens Call For Boycott Of Akshay Kumar's Film Saying It Promotes 'Love Jihad' After Tanishq Advertisement Goes Viral
